One of my favorite things in life is seeing people get excited. That may be why I have so many children. 😂They get excited about EVERYTHING. Unless they aren’t excited, then they are crying.
I love the excitement of a baby’s first steps, a child on Christmas morning, a teen with a new driver’s license, a senior on graduation day, a woman who just landed her dream job, a newly engaged woman, a bride on her wedding day, a mother awaiting the arrival of a baby and the list goes on and on.
I’m super excited today about a chocolate birthday cake waiting for me in South Carolina.
But the deepest desire in my heart is to be a girl that is excited about Jesus. A girl whose face is radiant with His presence. A girl who can’t wait to read today’s scripture. A girl who never stops praying to be included in the work of the Lord.
What will God do today? I don’t know yet, but I can’t wait to find out!
