Dance Moms,

I’m going to say something that’s not going to be popular but I can’t shake it so it must be said.

If your little girl is attending a dance studio that teaches them to twerk it’s time to stop.

If your little girl is attending a dance studio that uses songs with sexual lyrics it’s time to stop.

If your little girl is attending a dance studio that dresses little girls like they are performing at a night club it’s time to stop.

Pedophilia is abhorrent and we are quick to condemn it. Yet, we dress our little girls up in adult clothing, teach them to move their bodies in a sexual way to music with lyrics that would make the pastor blush - and then sell tickets to their friends and families to watch in the audience.

And then we’re shocked when we learn our country has a child porn problem.

It’s absolutely disgusting and detestable, yes, but we opened the door! Cover up your girls and for the love of Pete let them just be little.

Take off the false eyelashes and eyeliner. Quit with the spray tans and hair extensions. Stop dressing 6 year olds like 17 year olds.

I love dance, I’ve got a dancer in my home. And she won’t dance in any studio that doesn’t allow her to be just a little girl. She’s not a sexual being, she’s not your entertainment, she’s just a little girl who wants to dance.

Stop funding studios that degrade our girls by teaching them trash. This is how we end up with sick shows on Netflix.

I said what I said.
