It’s probably your mother.

Updated: May 11, 2020

If there is a person in your life who rises above the rest, who encourages you when the days are tough, who sees the light in your darkest day, it’s probably your mother.

If there is a person in your life who answers every call, who loses sleep over your troubles, who prefers your happiness to her own, it’s probably your mother.

If there’s a person in your life who still tells you when to go to the doctor, reminds you to care of yourself and still bakes your birthday cake, it’s probably your mother.

If there’s a person in your life who has cried with you, laughed with you, and reminded you to always do the right thing, it’s probably your mother.

If there’s a person in your life who thinks of you every day, prays for you every night, and loves to hear your voice, it’s probably your mother.

If there’s a person in your life who loves your children like her own, finds joy in their successes and worries over them every second, it’s probably your mother.

If there’s a person in your life who loves you at your worst, always encourages you to do better and rejoices in your best, it’s probably your mother.

If there’s a person in your life that God created just for you, to always guide you in His ways and taught you to love Him in all you do, it’s probably your mother.
